To fart or not to fart

I work in a 50 odd story office building in the city with a revolving door at its base. The door is one of those with three arms, not a huge four armed beast I’ve seen in some places. This morning as I entered, peristalsis kicking in, I wondered what would happen to a fart if I dropped it at the air lock stage of the door cycle. Would it exit with me or would it continue to revolve with the door?

I worry about you sometimes….FYI..the fart would dissipate and follow you….

Now this is an interesting issue. I have a theory. Normally these doors are airtight. Now if this occurs, I consider that the fart stays inside. You move quick when you get out of the revolving door. Because if you are slow, you make another turn. The doors revolves relatively slowly. And as the “cell” is airtight, the fart will stay inside. Unless the door is not airtight, then the fart will go inside the building. But then you have to get out of the building, and fast. Because the fart being inside the building, it could trigger an alarm, the building is evacuated and you blamed for it.
